Need some skin care stuffs from Clinique?

As we know, Clique likes to give freebies to their customers. This time, they organised an online competition in facebook for 7 days. It is a Great Skin Diary Contest.

Time Period:

From 12th till 31st January 3010 (But only need to participate for 7 days continuosly)

How to play?

There is a very clear manual explained from their facebook website.

Basically, what u will need to do is like playing a doll by helping her to take care of her skin by using the clinique very famous 3 step Skin Care System Regime. (How to clean? No worries, it's easy. The system will lead u on which place to click, just click accordingly will do.)

Then, dressed her up as u like (there is a few selection of clothes and accessories to be chosen) and after that choose a place where u would like your girl to go. Then write a simple, short yet impressive diary.

Oh, I think I forgot to mention that, before doing the 3 step skin care, u will have to choose the types of eyes, nose, mouths and etc by just clicking on the choices given there.

Take note that there is an energy bar on top of the right hand side of the doll. The rules of this competition is, at the end of the 7th day, it must reach a full bar status.

Prizes:

There are 10 fabulous Clinique prizes (as they claimed), each worth RM 1000 to be given out. The winners will be notify by mail, sms and from the website on 15th February 2010 (which is the 2nd day of CNY).

How to win??

The winner will be elected based on 3 criteria:

skin bar status (so, don't forget to log in twice a day)
number of votes of the daily diary (get your friends to vote for it, pls vote for me too~)
creativity and attractiveness of the daily diary

Streamyx S.U.C.K.S

It had been a long long time I never update this blog. Being so busy to enjoy my holidays with family and friends for the whole month. When I was back to kl, Mr. Streamyx was down for almost one week. The reason is, the line was cut due to the late payment. Well, more precisely, I should say, it had been a few months I never got my Streamyx bill. (I used to pay a lump sum payment in advance for a few months every time. Hence, I couldn't remember when is my last bill.)

I drop by to a tm point to make my payment. When I requested to get to know more on the details on my last payment, the officer there told me that, I got to go back to the main centre to request for it.

Then, I drive to another tm point told by the officer there. When I step in, I immediately press for my number and wait for my turn to make my payment. As my number was being called, I walked to the counter and told the incharged person at the counter that I want to make my payment. Then, I make my complain where I never get my bill for a few months and request her to check n print me the bill. Then this fella told me that, she incharged only for payment, I have to go and Q at the front information counter to request another fella to do so.

I was like, huh, means I got to Q there for so long then get another number and Q for my turn to pay again??

I was so angry. To me, it isn't my fault of not getting the bill. Why is it so troublesome to get the bill which I should have?

Mud guy asked me to cool down and just Q for it. After Q for almost half an hour, that's my turn to tell the one sitting at the information counter about my problems. He gave me a very very funny answer. He said, " Miss, if u want us to print the bill for u, we will charge u RM 5 per bill." I looked at him, " what? I never get the bill and u ask me to pay for getting the bill?" Then he added, " miss, it's ok, i can print the 1st page for u for free. Regarding the bill, itu bukan masalah kita. kalau tak dapat bill, You have to make a report at post office. Sebab, kami ada kontrak dengan mereka, kami dah sub-kan tugas ni kepada mereka."

I was so speechless. How dare he gave me such idiot answer. Don't ever tell me that if I never got my Digi o Maxis bill, then I should go post office to seek for it~! Frankly say, this is what we call customer service. I have been through this kind of situation before. Digi directly print out my bill for me without saying anything and incurred any charges.

Finally, I still make my payment as usual. Deep in my heart, I was so so so hesitate to subscribe it anymore. I have no choices other than streamyx. If P1 has reach here, if I don't need to share this line with my courmates, definitely, I will tell them to unsubscribe it on the spot.

Dear all, have u ever face any problems with Streamyx? perhaps, included any government linked company?

Sembonia Member's Sales

Sembonia is having member's sales as of 07/01/2010 in its Mid Valley branch.

From what i see, the discount is up to 50%, mostly on older models.

Sembonia can be said as being a upper medium level brand from a local marque that include Bonia, Carlo Rino and others, and Sembonia had always had nice design at a reasonable price.

And no, it's not only for older generation but the design suits young professionals too.

If you are very young, go for Carlo Rino instead.

Support our home grown quality brand (patriotic la konon)!!!

La Senza Semi Annual Sales 2010

It would no doubt be horribly embarrassing for me to report on this one, but here you have it, La Senza is having the semi annual sales, with bra as low as RM 55.

Butter Girl said before La Senza is a good brand with good bra.

How would i know?

Zara Season Clearance Sales 2010

While Mango has its own sales, sister Zara is also having its own Season Clearance sales!

Price goes from RM 39.00 upward, which should be a good buy for Zara lovers.

For me, i don't wear female attire and Butter Girl, who is very lazy to blog, doesn't wear Zara for the obvious reason.

But for you, Zara lover, this should be a moment to go crazy!!

Mango "I Love You Fashiontastic" Sales 2010

Mango is having its I Love You Fashiontastic Sales currently with sales up to 70%.

The usual suspects are all in, like MNG Basic tee at RM 25-29, and price goes all the way up.

As usual, older stock gets a higher discount and new arrival this time has no discount.

And also as usual, the ladies loved it, packing Mango like they are all free. Ok, i exaggerated. But they are packed, just like any MNG sales.

I can never tell you what's the price range, you gotta go to the Mango near you to find out.

Malaysia Chocolate Fair 2010 Review

If you are looking at some established names, you will be disappointed.

But if you are looking at some unknown and up and coming chocolate manufacturers, then this is the place for you!!

Here, you can find many small manufacturers, as well as some new brands, including one notable brand, Sladoff from Russia.

And there are also cosmetics and skin care products made from cocoa extracts on sale too!

But Butter Girl said the moisturizer is too oily.

You can buy a lot of chocolates from different names but the price are no where at the "very cheap" level. If you are merely there to "ke poh", then there are many samples for you to test, what is better than looking and eating for free at the same time?

But you cannot buy Sladoff, funnily, because they are merely here to inform us of them coming to invade our shore next month. But no, they are not selling you chocs at introductory price. Which i cannot understand. What's the point of putting up all the beautiful chocolates if you are not selling? Nevertheless you can still test their products
